Never been here before, but it won’t be too long till I return to this superb sector of high grade climbs.  While the boys warm up on one of two 6a, Tarraco Chicken Climber Diego & I rip up Misaotra, 6b which has a polished block start, with the rest of the climb being a romp.  We leave it open for Siscu & Jordi and then get on Pluja De Pedres, 7a+ which looks a lot easier than 7a+ from the ground.  Well, Diego is looking good till the fall at the crux in between the last bolt and the anchor.

The start’s tricky too, blocky and a little polished.  Powerful moves get you to the thin crux, overhanging and with shallow handholds.  Here is where I have to abandon it.  Got to pay my dues on the campus board – and thanks to a new manufacturer in Alforja*, I’ll have mine mounted in the kitchen soon.  (*Details soon…)

A nice 25mtr 6c onsight Clasicorra Bastorra which has a thin move in the middle and a bit of a roof to pass to get to the chain.  Very nice.  Here too is our Andoni bou (right hand photo) on La Muerte Del Sponsor, 7b+

Sac De Gemecs, 7a is next and after a couple of falls is topped out.  This is redpointable.  I wanted to nail the other new 6c but it’s getting colder and dark so we leave it for next visit.  A good day.
