Back on home turf now that France’s excellent Languedoc-Rousillon region is recent history (though I might be back there soon).  Afternoon shade in Siuranella Est and I’m moping up a few lines that escaped me last time.  I warm up on and redpoint the great Lo Dejé To Blanco, 7a for openers, then send the 7a next to it, that shares the first 3 bolts then goes up left.  Another 30mtr line.  Then a nice onsight of Brigadistak, 7a which is more sustained than the others, and well worth doing.

Brigadistak, 7a

To finish I try the 7a+, Huir Para Vivir but it’s a little greasy at the crux and frankly difficult – the corner crux is overhanging, so pushing you off the rock, and the holds are thin and awkward to take.  There’s probably an easy way to do it, but I couldn’t find it in the time we had.  3 * 7a sends – a good day.

7a   7a   7a   7a+
