There’s lots of climbs here to do – I haven’t even ticked 10% yet, and it is a sheltered venue for when it isn’t great weather-wise.  We warm up on a long but somewhat disjointed (and rope draggy) La Ligne Vert, 6b (Foreigner Wall) which was OK but dusty.  Paul was projecting Jack The Smuggler, 7a on Grid Iron which looked nice, so I try it.  Nice and thin, but annoyingly I miss the onsight on the last move of the crux, which was absolutely easy on the 2nd go.

Jack The Smuggler, 6c+   Jack The Smuggler, 6c+

This nice line is graded 6c+ on Gary’s Sportsclimbs and 7a everywhere else (UKC, Rockfax – which is basically the same, and 8a.nu).  It could be either but I’ll count it as an easy 7a!

I repeat the lovely Curfew, 6b+ as the line I wanted to do was occupied, and finish the day with the one-move wonder Sack The Strugglers, 6c – oh, thanks for the beta, guys!

6b   7a   7a   6b+   6c
