Well, Asturias…it’s green and lush for a reason.  And that reason has meant we missed a day climbing.  We only get out late in the afternoon now as it has dried up, so we risk it.  Forecast says it’s going to rain again though, so we hit Los Bloques, but only have time for two quick routes before very dark grey clouds swoop in and piss all over us. El Diedro, 6b was not worth doing, and the nice El Cantu, 5 was difficult to enjoy as we had to strip it when the heavy rain came.

Where these routes are though, at the beginning of the sector isn’t very inspiring, but we decide to come back another day to check out the routes further down the wall, just down from the Santa Ana Hermitage.
